There are some things in life that on paper, just sound wrong. And a six-piece, a cappella, beatboxing man- band is just one of them.
Delightfully though, in practice, The Magnets are one of the most phenomenal things you will ever see or hear in your life.
Performing last night at Birmingham’s stunning Town Hall, the group was pure class with a set including everything from Lady Gaga to Lennie Kravitz with Elvis and Fat Boy Slim.
If you get the chance, go see them, because once The Magnets have pulled you in, you’ll be stuck on them.
