Thunder pair Danny & Ben head for Wolverhampton

Two members of much-missed British rockers Thunder are set to present an evening with a difference for fans in Wolverhampton.
With the irrepressible Danny Bowes on vocals and Ben Matthews on guitar and piano, An Evening With Danny & Ben will be a relaxed mix of stripped down Thunder songs and favourite cover versions, as well as anecdotes and tales from their years in the music business.
The audience will be seated and “actively encouraged” to join in, with exact details of this to be revealed each night of the tour. There will be no support act and Danny & Ben will play two sets with a short “toilet & drinks” interval in the middle.
The pair will be at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall on Thursday, January 26, 2012. Tickets, priced £17.50 plus fees, are available from Midland Box Office on 0870 320 7000 or at www.wolvescivic.co.uk
Thunder last played Wolverhampton Civic Hall in July 2009 as part of their farewell tour, although they have since made a number of “one-off” appearances including at this year’s High Voltage festival in London, with guitarist Luke Morley now concentrating on his new band The Union.
