Described as "Denmark's finest rockabilly metallers", Volbeat are fast building a growing reputation and now have finally confirmed their rescheduled debut UK headline tour for October, including a date in Birmingham.

Volbeat play Birmingham O2 Academy on Thursday, October 27, 2011. Tickets are onsale now, priced at £12 plus booking fees.

The band were due to play the UK towards the end of last year, but the dates were unable to go ahead when frontman Michael Poulsen fell ill.

Now, the tour has not just been rescheduled but moved up in venue size, with a new single, Heaven Nor Hel, lined up to coincide.

So as not to disappoint fans, Black Spiders - who were the main support for the cancelled dates - have once again been added as main support for the new dates, following several triumphant appearances at this summer's festivals, including last weekend's High Voltage festival.
