Every day, we scour the web to find the most interesting, funniest and most talked about pages on the Internet to keep you going until home time.

Our new favourite game – Pole Pull-down
When it comes to mixing danger and lunacy with fun and games, the Japanese have long been the masters of the art.
And those who remember Endurance and Takeshi’s Castle will surely love this traditional Japanese game known as Bo-Taoshi, or ‘pole pull-down.’
There are two teams of 75 and one pole. One team has to keep it standing upright, the other has to pull it down.
And from this video, those seem to be the only rules. Cue two minutes of absolute carnage as 150 men have an almighty scrap and, inevitably, the pole comes crashing down.
Hacking scandal – Simpsons style
What if all of the major players in the hacking scandal were cast members of The Simpsons is the one question that nobody had on their lips.
But ShortList spotted the resemblences and created this brilliant online gallery of lookalikes.
And when you look at it, it all starts to make sense. Sideshow Bob as Rebekah Brooks, Mr. Burns as Rupert Murdoch and Troy McClure as Hugh Grant.
It’s just uncanny.
