Diversity add extra show at LG Arena, Birmingham
Thursday 30th June 2011, 2:25PM BST.
Due to phenomenal demand, dance troupe Diversity are to perform an extra matinee show at Birmingham’s LG Arena.
They will now two-step it in the region as they perform the additional daytime show, which forms part of their brand new tour for 2012, on Saturday, April 7. The new show is called Digitized – Trapped In A Game.
Diversity’s stint in Birmingham takes place during the Easter holidays and the 2009 Britain’s Got Talent winners will then go on to entertain at their already scheduled evening show in the city.
Last year alone Diversity performed live to over 300,000 people across the world.
Since winning Britain’s Got Talent, they have performed in front of The Queen on The Royal Variety Show, been the first act to perform outside No. 10 Downing Street in front of the Prime Minister and they starred in British smash-hit film StreetDance 3D.
Incorporating several genres of music from classical to hip-hop, their diverse eye-catching routines won the hearts of the nation.
Group leader and Choreographer Ashley Banjo said: “We are overwhelmed at how quickly tickets are selling and want to try and accommodate everyone. We are really looking forward to getting back out there with a brand new show.”
Tickets for the matinee show at the LG Arena go on-sale on Friday 01 July 1, 2011, at 9:30am, priced at £29.50 and £21.50 (subject to booking and transaction fees), available from The Ticket Factory: www.theticketfactory.com 0844 338 8000
