Take That stormed Villa Park as their spectacular Progress Live 2011 arrived in the West Midlands.
The group, performing as a five-piece for the first time in more than 15 years, stunned fans with a breath-taking £15 million production.
A crowd of almost 50,000 people packed into the stadium to see their idols, with deafening screams erupting when they took to the stage.

The two hour and 15 minute extravaganza kicked off with the four piece line-up, followed by an electrifying solo stint from Robbie Williams, before the five finally reunited with a spectacular performance starting with The Flood.
As Robbie left the stage, he told the fans that it had been the best concert yet, adding: “Birmingham – absolutely magnificent.”
The spectacle featured a 60ft tall mechanical robot called Om which also acted as a unique stage and stood up, towering over the stadium. Acrobats performed on zip wires, with even Robbie descending onto the stage on a wire in front of a wall of water. Rain held off for most of the night, with a few showers only cooling down the electrified crowds.
Fans leaving the ground faced traffic jams as they left Villa Park, although it was train passengers who faced the most difficult journey home.
Natalie Bailey, a 37-year-old charity worker from Newport Road, Stafford said dozens of people were left on the platforms as one of the special trains to collect fans had just two carriages.
She said: “There were loads of people left waiting and they were pretty angry.”
But devotees told afterwards how the night had been well worth the wait.
Mark Bartlett, aged 49, from Abbeyfield, Halesowen said: “What is fantastic about Take That is that everybody can like them. They put on such an entertaining show, and even those who aren’t that into the music can enjoy the spectacle.”
Thousands of fans will attend tonight’s final show.
