Pete Firman and Matt Kirshen coming to Light House

“Wolverhampton on the Fringe”, Light House’s comedy season continues this July featuring some of the best comedians, new faces, and seasoned-pros on the circuit. Next up is magician and comedian Pete Firman with Matt Kirshen.
The season is a chance to see sneak preview performances before they are taken to the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2011.
The fourth show of the season will feature Firman and Kirshen on Thursday July 7. Doors open 8.15pm, for 8.30pm start.
Comedian/magician Pete Firman may be familiar to some as he has most recently starred in BBC1’s primetime magic show ‘Don’t Miss A Trick’, Derren Brown’s ‘3D Magic Spectacular’ on Channel 4 and Jason Manford’s ‘Comedy Rocks’ on ITV1.
He has appeared as presenter, pundit and panel guest on all sorts of programmes, as well as being nominated for a Golden Rose at the Rose d’Or Festival in Montreux.
Matt Kirshen has been a circuit favorite for years performing regularly at The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, The Glee Club, The Stand and Komedia. Alongside winning the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2003.
He is also the winner of Comedy Store Kings of Kings and runner up of the Paramount Comedy Gift of the Gab award.
