It’s all Go! Go! Go! as West End cast perform preview for pupils
Wednesday 22nd June 2011, 11:30AM BST.
High-energy dance moves and plenty of get up and go – children from a Wolverhampton primary school were thrilled to be treated to their very own private performance of a West End stage show.
The cast of pop musical Go! Go! Go! gave children at Castlecroft Primary a taster of what they can expect if they go to see them at the Grand Theatre next month.
Paul Dimmock, a senior manager at the school, said that about 225 youngsters watched the group strut their stuff during this week’s visit.
“They performed for about half an hour, and it was very lively and entertaining,” said Mr Dimmock.
“They got all of the kids involved, and they all seemed to enjoy it.” The West End show for children is touring all over the country during the coming months and will arrive in Wolverhampton on July 24.”
