50,000 see Wolverhampton’s Aladdin panto
Monday 27th December 2010, 11:29AM GMT.
Ticket sales for Aladdin have smashed through the 50,000 barrier at Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre, bosses said today.
A total of 49,977 tickets have been sold and a further 1,600 reserved for the show starring Christopher Biggins, which runs to January 30.
Marketing manager Iain Watkins said: “The hugely positive response we have had from audiences means that bookings are surging ahead in spite of the bad weather.”
The show opened on December 11.
Next year’s panto has already been announced as Snow White, featuring Linda Lusardi.
