Battle of the Bands 2011 open for entries

Battle of the Bands is back with a bang and The Civic Halls are looking to make the 2011 instalment the biggest and best contest that the region has ever seen.
The competition is now open for entries, so if you think that your band has what it takes then send your details to phil@wolvescivic.co.uk as soon as possible.
Not only will the competition be the biggest yet, but so will the prizes. The kitty includes:
- £1,000 cash
- A free recording session at M2 studio
- A professional photo shoot
- A bespoke website designed and hosted by Surge Music
- Music video shot by Adapt promotions
Battle of the Bands begins with the first heats throughout January and February, then on to the semi-final stage before the grand final on Saturday 14th May at the Civic Hall.
Entrants will be judged on several criteria including Presentation/Delivery, Songwriting, Originality, Vibe and Audience Reaction with bonus points awarded for every 10 tickets they sell.
