Manic Street Preachers cancel Birmingham concert

Manic Street Preachers have cancelled their gig in Birmingham tonight because lead singer James Dean Bradfield is ill.
The band were due to perform the sell-out gig at the O2 Academy tonight.
In a statement, singer Bradfield said: “I would like to personally apologise for the situation tonight.
“Nothing makes us feel worse than having to postpone a show especially since we always receive a great reaction in Birmingham.
“The audience there have always been loyal to us. Again sincere apologies for this.”
A band spokesman said: “The show has been rescheduled for Tuesday December 14.
“All tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. If necessary, refunds are also available from point of purchase.”
The band’s hits include A Design For Life, You Love Us and Motorcycle Emptiness.
