JB’s to host Brit Rock festival again
Wednesday 28th July 2010, 1:06PM BST.
JB’s in Dudley is set to host the third annual British Rock ‘n’ Metal Fest in September, with 12 bands on the bill and advance tickets costing just £10.
Among the bands taking part in the event on Saturday, September 11, 2010, are headliners Toxic Federation, Rebel City Radio, Viable Truth and Martyr De Mona.
Organiser Steve Slater, who is also lead guitarist with Midlands rockers Rekuiem, said: “They are mostly up and coming bands this year. Quite a few have had articles written on them in Kerrang and Classic Rock.
“Headliners Toxic Federation are really creating a buzz and I’m sure they will go on to really big things very soon.”
Steve added: “There is a real mixture of all styles of rock at this year’s fest from melodic classic rock through to new style power prog right through to the darkest of metal.”
Brit Rock 2010 will run from 1pm-midnight. For more information visit the Brit Rock 2010 website – www.britrock.webs.com
