Dirk, who played Face in the hit 1980s action TV series, is playing the role of Lieutenant Columbo in Prescription Murder, which runs until Saturday.
Having also starred in the original Battlestar Galactica, Dirk will taking to the stage in the role made famous by Peter Falk on TV.

The drama centres on a mysterious death involving a psychiatrist, who is celebrating his wedding anniversary when he is called away to deal with a female patient.
It was the first story ever written for the raincoat wearing detective, who enjoyed massive TV audiences around the world.

I loved the A-Team. Face was my favourite character in it.
Is it true that his agent came up with his name when they had lunch and ordered Eggs Benedict? I am sure I read this in a Look In magazine in the 80s and it has stuck in my mind.

you played in so many iconic 70/80s TV shows but your not reconised as a majour film star even tho your a star in your own right.
why do you think that you havent broken though to the majour scean why is that or would you prefer televison over movies

Dirk, loved the A-Team just like many people did. My first question to you is “What were your first impressions of Wolverhampton?” Secondly, has you ever used the expression “Talk to the hand, cos the Face aint listening?”
