i was lucky enough to see rammstein the previous night in manchester where the crowd were much more apathetic,im afraid the video thing is here to stay,and i wouldnt want to take away the opportunity for people to take snaps etc,but watching the entire show on a tiny screen is really kinda missing the point,ive been to great gigs in the past before we even had mobile phones and the great ones stay in the memory and were very special occassions for everyone involved, it was a privilege to see rammstein in the birthplace of metal,they made an old rocker very happy,long may they reign [fire]!

Brilliant show from a great band. Possibly the reason for a shortened encore was the late start (over half an hour) by the support band, Combichrist.

Absolutely fantastic! best night of my life! I was in seating but stood the whole way through, yeah alot of people with cameras but didnt stop them shouting or jumping good atmosphere i thought. God i hope they come back and tour in the UK again!

We lived the dream in Birmingham when we saw Rammstein live but where we sitting we have to say the crowd reponse was very lowkey. When they gave an encore they still seemed to be sedated.

I think the band were genuinely moved by the response they got. Come back Rammstein please !!!!! No over band even compares to the Gods of Rock ! d

i agree totally , fantastic all round set , first time for me , my czech girlfriend ,took me along (she had seen them twice before ) She agreed it was a good performance. Will be looking out for their next tour for certian .

the atmosphere wasnt poor where i was! loads of pits to keine lust, feuer frei etc abseloutley amazing! the only qualm i have was that there entrance was no where near as good as it was in 05 with reise reise

They only dropped Seaman from the last encore, not the end of the world. I thought the atmosphere was excellent. The place was sold out, everyone was singing and punching the air and you could see that the band was having a good time. Yes, lots of people taking pictures and taking movies but that is their choice. The atmosphere was just as good as the Ahoi tour of 05′. I’d say R+ outdid themselves with the gig, top performance

Was very dissapointed with the apathy of the Birmingham crowd last night and so were the band who cut 2 planned songs out of the encore to finish early.
I think the advent of technology is to blame as I saw hundreds of people pay 40 quid to watch a band and then spend the whole time trying to record it on a 3 inch screen.
That is why the atmos was poor compared to the Reise ReISe tour.
If you want to watch a video then stay at home!

It was definitely one hell of a gig, let’s hope they release a dvd from this tour too!

This is the eighth time I have seen Rammstein live (three of those shows have been in Germany) and they are like no other band. Their live shows are astonishing and worth every penny (or Euro). I have seen most of the really big rock and metal bands from Iron Maiden to U2 and nobody can put on a show like Rammstein! Last night’s gig in Birmingham was truly awesome!

First time l have been to a Rammstein concert, and it was totally awesome, fantastic lighting and pyrotechnics, explosions made me jump but added to the affect. crowd was amazing too. l also enjoyed the support bad Combichrist, drum beat amazing
