A group from the University of Wolverhampton joined forces to organise a fundraising fashion show to help raise money for the Steve Bull Foundation.

The event also saw them setting up stalls selling a range of jewellery, clothes and vintage items to boost the charity drive.

As part of a module on their course, eight students studying in areas of business and marketing had to organise an event for the foundation.

They decided to go for a fashion show as their idea and pitched the conceptto the Steve Bull Foundation.

The charity provides charitable support in the form of grants to organisations, primarily in the Black Country and West Midlands.

The organisers then enlisted the support of students from the fashion and design course, who supplied eight outfits which were all modelled on the night.

Another three students also agreed to act as models, while they were able to recruit another two from a modelling agency. The show was held in the students union bar at the University of Wolverhampton, and it was attended by around 40 people on Friday night.

Those who went along were charged £5, and they were also given the chance to enter a raffle with items such as restaurant vouchers and food up for grabs for the winners. Photography students also did their bit to help out, going along to take pictures at the event, which went on for around two hours. The fundraiser has been hailed a success by organisers.
