As a Catholic High School, the students benefit from moral guidance and pastoral support as displayed in the Catholic ethos of the community.

This ethos permeates every lesson and activity, encouraging students to become honest and reliable adults with a strong moral commitment in their work and behaviour.

Students have access to rich resources, staff expertise and support.

The well being of students is a priority and its success depends on strong links between school and home and a harmonious relationship is essential for the overall happiness and performance of all students.

The school’s young people think positively and take responsibility for their own actions.

Students are actively guided to think of others and explore ways of helping within the school and local community.

This voluntary contribution enables students to develop leadership and organisational qualities with a wider understanding of others, all essential skills for higher education and future employment.

Students also have the opportunity to develop their potential whether in the field of sport and drama, mathematics, right through to science.

The values the school strives to inculcate in students are such that will enable a young person to mature and develop as an upright and conscientious adult ready to achieve at the highest level.

The school warmly invites prospective pupils and their carers to visit and apply for a place in the sixth form and continue a learning journey as part of a family orientated, friendly and successful sixth form.
