Kingsmead Technology College, students and staff have joined forces with local primary schools, Five Ways, Gorsemoor, Hazel Slade, Heath Hayes, St Peters and West Hill to record and produce a Christmas 'Sing Together' CD.

The CD consists of festive songs performed by primary school students alongside tracks by Kingsmead students, staff choir and College orchestra.

Music Teacher, Mrs Collins described the collation of the CD as: "An extremely worthwhile, beneficial experience that we hope to repeat in the future. The attitude, enthusiasm and quality shown by all the students involved is a credit to them and their schools. It has been a pleasure to work on a project that has enabled the community to join together"

The CD's are available from all school receptions at the cost of £5. All proceeds will benefit the primary schools involved.
