Far Forest School promotes healthy eating in style
Friday 25th November 2011, 12:02PM GMT.
To help the new reception children learn about healthy eating ‘The Royal Foresters’ was at hand to teach the children expert skills at Far Forest School.
Mark Hammond head chef worked with the children in creating healthy alternative food, smoothies and Christmas cookies.
Headteacher Mrs Tara Collins-Bullock said, “We really wanted to make an impact with the children about healthy eating and thought the experts would enthuse and excite the children’s interest. We are very grateful to ‘The Royal Foresters’ for their support the children had a fabulous time.”
“Far Forest provides an excellent learning environment and we would like to invite prospective parents/children to our Open Morning on Saturday 10th December 10am-1pm.”
