A Sandwell primary school has unveiled a new partner school in the North East of England.

St John Bosco Primary School, in West Bromwich, is already well known for its international links, with partners schools in Poland, India and Gambia.

It recently decided to link up with a school in England and has now created a relationship with High Spen Primary, on the outskirts of Gateshead.

Year six pupils at both schools have already begun to strike up friendships, writing and emailing each other, comparing differences between the schools and making videos about their local areas.
