Most nine-year-olds visiting theme parks look forward to the thrill of the rides but schoolboy Noah Reeves-Walters will greet guests when he joins the team as a hotel concierge.

And when he takes on the role at Staffordshire's Drayton Manor Hotel next week he will become the country's first ever child hotel concierge.

The pupil, who attends St Catherine's CE primary School in Kidderminster, will don his specially made uniform and take up residence in the four-star hotel's reception next week during the school half-term break.

He will be on hand to answer questions and assist younger guests with their visit and day out at the theme park after being nominated by his family for the job.

Noah says: "I love Drayton Manor Theme Park, but it's always the adults who give the advice, so I thought it should be the kids who get to answer their questions for a change.

"I'm prepared and ready to give my expert kid opinion."

He is looking forward to helping out with information about the best place to sit on the Stormforce 10 to get the best soaking and where to find the best ice cream in the park.

Noah expects to be rushed off his feet dealing with queries about the speed of the Ben 10 ride, the size of the chunky chips, sweets and what animals live at the zoo.

Drayton Manor Hotel's general manager Martin Wright said: "When Noah and his family contacted us with the idea of him being our child hotel concierge, we jumped at the chance.

"The theme park's brand is synonymous with family fun and trips out for the young and young at heart, so it makes perfect sense for us to have someone like Noah offering his help and advice to our younger guests and listening to the issues that are important to them."
