Free parking in Walsall is Wembley bonus

Parking charges will be waived at all council car parks in Walsall town centre, in support of the club's historic Wembley final.

Walsall Council has said there will be free parking at both long and short stay car parks to support those catching coaches from the town centre to Wembley.

It is also to encourage those not going to the match to watch the game on in the town.

Almost 30,000 tickets have been sold for fans travelling to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final against Bristol City

It will still be possible to purchase on the day at Wembley from 12noon.

Brownhills teenager Ryan Freeman will be mascot for the club after being picked at random by manager Dean Smith.

All junior supporters who purchased a 2015/16 season ticket before March 14th were entered into the draw.

"It's still not sunk in yet," said Ryan.

"I can't wait for Sunday, to lead the team out in front of so many fans will be great but also nerve-wracking.

"The atmosphere is going to be fantastic and I am proud to be the mascot."
