People in Streetly were left scratching their heads when Martin Jordan, the F Word chef look-a-like, turned up at a charity fundraiser.

Mr Jordan made the guest appearance to meet staff and visitors at the Little Bengal, in Blackwood Road, for the event in aid of St Giles Hospice this week.

The Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant held the event after re-opening following a £24,000 revamp to their facilities.

The free event raised more than £200 in public donations while staff generously gave half-a-day's wages to the total to take the amount to above £500.

Jamal Ahmed, manager at the Little Bengal restaurant said that some customers thought the Hell's Kitchen chef's double Mr Jones was the real deal.

"Martin was absolutely great, people really enjoyed it. You really can't tell the different between him and Gordon – he even talks like him its crazy," he said.

He added: "We thought it would be something a bit different and eye-catching." The Ramsay doppelganger has made a living out of his facial similarities to the TV chef, appearing on shows like Louie Spence's Showbusiness, The Chris Moyles Quiz Show and reaching the semi-final of talent show Britain's Got Talent as part of the 'The Chippendoubles'.

Mr Jordan has even worked with the man himself on a series of television adverts as well as featuring on Gordon Ramsay's Cookalong live show.

Still wondering which man is Gordon Ramsay and who is Mr Jordan. The real celebrity is on the left, Mr Jordan is on the right.
