Black Country beers to feature at Birmingham festival

Beers from several Black Country and Staffordshire breweries will be featured at a beer festival being staged in Birmingham next month.

The Moseley and Kings Heath Beer Festival will be offering 40 real ales from within a 15-mile radius and seven ciders on February 6 and 7.

It is being held at Kings Heath Cricket Club in Alcester Road South and has been organised by Moseley Round Table.

Breweries feature will include Backyard Brewery, Brownhills; Enville Ales; Fixed Wheel, Halesowen; Green Duck, Stourbridge; Holden's, Woodsetton and Sarah Hughes, Sedgley.

One third of the money raised will go to Birmingham Food Banks, another third will go to the All Saints Youth Project and the rest will be split between other local good causes that Moseley Round Table supports.

The festival is open to the public from 4pm to 11pm on the Friday and 12 noon to 11pm on the Saturday.
