While it's said that a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth infinitely more. Here we look back at some of the most-viewed of the year.

Dramatic footage of a car chase in which a father drove at speeds of more than 100mph, weaving in and out of traffic, all with his three children in the car, was released after he was jailed for 22 months for dangerous driving. The footage is filmed from a police car and gives an eye-witness view of the chase.

Later in the year, came the bizarre incident of a six foot fence erected around a Brownhills home, footage of which you really did have to see it to believe. The fence was erected after a dispute between neighbours who claimed that the state of the house in question was depreciating the value of their homes.

The video showing the shell of the the fire ravaged Wednesfield High School depicted the devastation that just could not be conveyed in a story. The footage from the site of the suspected arson attack showed the remains of a building that were barely recognisable as the former school.

15,000 of you lined the streets for the St George's Day parade in West Bromwich, showing just how patriotic an area the Black Country is, and even more of you watched footage of what is thought to be the largest parade in the country.
