Stanley Loweth, lifelong Wolves fan and member of the rotary club for over 60 years, reached the milestone last weekend and was treated to a presentation in his honour by fellow Rotarians.

Robin Tyler-Morris, member of the charitable group, said: "We had to find some way of congratulating Stanley on his magnificent achievement.

"To have reached the age of 100 is something special but to still be a member of the Rotarians at that age is something else all together.

"He has been a fabulous member of this group and after 60 years he is still a part of it."

As the group met for lunch, Stanley was presented with 100 cakes to mark his unique achievement.

Stanley was born on December 14th 1914, received his education at Wolverhampton Grammar School and was manager at the Trustee Savings Bank in Wolverhampton for many years.
