Firefighters, police and paramedics take on the public in Wolverhampton charity boxing match

Firefighters, police officers and ambulance workers are set to face off against members of the public in a charity boxing extravaganza.

Showfighter productions has assembled a team of emergency service workers to take on lorry drivers, bricklayers and office workers in a series of heated bouts.

The Kings v Knights Boxing Ball will take place at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall on October 18.

Organiser Andy Sahota, said: "To my knowledge this is the fist time everyday members of the public will fight our emergency services. I wish both teams the best of luck, I know how hard they've both been training over these past months in preparation for the big night.

"Hopefully the venue will be packed to the rafters!"

The event will raise money for Caudwell Children, a charity which provides support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK
