Filmed especially to promote next week's 50th anniversary episode, the seven-minute video answers questions that fans of the long-running sci-fi show have been asking ever since it returned to screens in 2005.

His was the only Doctor they had never seen 'regenerate' into another actor.

The episode also answers questions about the identity of veteran actor John Hurt's character, who was introduced very briefly on screen as The Doctor at the end of the last series.
