One of the nicest things about Christmas, from a fashionista point of view, are the host of shopping events and parties that help make Christmas shopping just that bit more bearable, wrires blogger Emma Iannarilli.

One of the most innovative and exciting fashion parties taking place this festive season is also one of the most worthwhile, and will be taking place on Monday, December 10, in the giant, Cannock-based SuperStore, Newlife.

The retailer, which is the UK's leading Children's disability charity, will be holding its very first 'Fashion Fix' event with its very own resident fashionisto Darren Smith, who will be offering advice to customers on the best fashion choices for the party season.

Darren, who joined Newlife after working at some of the UK's top fashion retailers, has a wealth of experience on how to dress your best when you're dressing to impress, and will be on hand on Monday from 2pm-8pm, to give one-on-one advice to shoppers who are hoping to dress their best for less during the festive season.

In addition to the invaluable advice, customers can also bag money-off vouchers just by popping in and consulting Darren.

He said: "Not everyone wants to be decked in diamante just because it's Christmas and sometimes it seems that is all that is on offer in shops. At Newlife we want to change that and simplify the process of putting together the perfect outfit.

"There's a wide selection of clothes, accessories and jewellery to suit any style and any age and it's my aim to show shoppers what might work for them. Customers can't lose – as anyone attending a Fashion Fix consultation will get a voucher to spend in store.

"It's our aim to give you some simple bargain solutions that will give ladies and gents a fantastic Christmas."

The event is in line with the new-look Newlife SuperStore which underwent a radical re-fit earlier this year and is now far more fashion and style led in its design and layout.

So, if you are finding yourself stuck in a style rut, want advice for dressing for a particular occasion, or just fancy a bit of guilt free shopping, get yourself down to NewLife on Monday.
