It was founded in 2012 by students who studied on the University of Wolverhampton's Computer Science (Games Development), Games Design and Interactive Media degrees.

The company is helped and supported by the SPEED Plus programme, which is a regional project that aims to support and help students and graduates in the West Midlands who would like to become entrepreneurs and start their own business.

VOiD Games have just released their first game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Their new App is a logo quiz game, dedicated to GAMING and is called Guess The Game

Logo quiz games are puzzle based games where a player must guess the logos of popular brands, in this case computer games. Right answers results in hints being awarded. The hints can be used to help players guess harder logos.

In the midst of all the logo quizzes on the Apple App Store, there was no other game that catered for a gamers appetite to solve logo based visual trivia. VOiD Games have now addressed this omission with their free app. Guess The Game has 10 levels of logos and box art from gaming past and present, a hint system to get past the most brain stressing logos and is styled in a homage to retro gaming past.

Does your gaming knowledge compare to that of your thumb and finger dexterity? You can find out for yourself be downloading 'Guess The Game', for free, on the Apple App Store.
