A lucky British ticket holder matched all the numbers to scoop the lucrative prize.

It is the eighth biggest jackpot in UK lottery history, and makes the winner richer than Britain's wealthiest sportsman Lewis Hamilton, who has a personal fortune of £68m, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

The winning numbers in last night's EuroMillions draw were 30, 42, 04, 31 and 38 and the Lucky Star numbers were 11 and 02.

A National Lottery spokeswoman said it was not unusual for the winner not to have claimed their prize yet - but urged players to check if they had the wining numbers.

She said: "The lucky ticket holder hasn't claimed their bumper winnings yet, but we would urge everyone who had an entry into EuroMillions last night to check their numbers - it could turn into a very happy bank holiday weekend for whoever out there has the winning combination, if come forward to claim their prize."
