Bosses today revealed they had received an 'overwhelming' number of applications for the positions.

Deputy store manager, Sarah Fisher, said: "The standard of applicants was incredibly high but I'm confident that we've found the right people for the store. We have recruited a great bunch of people from the local community."

The store, part of multi-channel retailer N Brown Group PLC, will provide a selection of men's and women's fashion.

Jacamo offers a range of men's designer labels and own brands, including Jacamo's Flintoff by Jacamo collection, exclusively designed by England cricket legend Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff.

The store will be the 11th dual-facia Simply Be and Jacamo store to open in the UK and is part of N Brown's plans to open four new branches over the next four months.
