A dealership for South Korean SsangYong cars has opened in Wolverhampton.

Wolverhampton Mazda and SsanYong in Willenhall Road will also be a dealership for Subaru as well from early new year.

The dealership along with a new one at Hereford takes the number of SsangYong dealers in the UK to 34.

Paul Williams, chief executive of SsangYong Motor UK, said: ‘We have worked really hard over the past few months to talk to as many prospective dealers as possible, and this is really paying dividends.”

The Wolverhampton dealership used to sell new Mazdas and will continue to service them and sell used Mazdas. The company is continuing to look for UK dealers.
