Yorks Park, constructed in two phases, occupies a site of approximately 12 acres on Blowers Green Road in Dudley.

The park provides 157,656 sq ft of high quality industrial and warehouse accommodation within five buildings on a secure, self contained site.

Alex Carr, director and head of LSH's industrial and logistics team in Birmingham, who acted on behalf of Exova, said: "Unit 1 at Yorks Park was the ideal choice for Exova following a comprehensive trawl of the market.

"Not only is the building in very close proximity to their existing facility in Netherton, but it also provides the specification and image required for the business going forward. We have worked with A&J Mucklow Group to deliver a mutually beneficial transaction. Exova have signed a 10-year lease on the unit which extends to 23,104 sq ft at headline rent of £5.10 per sq ft."

Stuart Haydon, portfolio manager at Mucklow, said: "We are delighted to welcome Exova as tenants to Yorks Park as it sees the development fully let and completes a great line up of tenants."

LSH building consultancy director Darron Owen is project managing a £3 million fit out project at the premises, which includes the construction of new offices, laboratories, a warehouse crane and external compounds.

Darron said: "We are delighted to be working with Exova to provide them with a first class facility to meet their operational requirements for a base suitable for larger, more efficient testing.

"We are working with the contractors to provide a fast track solution aligned with key target dates for completion."
