Fifty jobs are still up for grabs at courier firm APC Overnight in Cannock. more

The firm is holding a recruitment day to try and fill the positions.

The company is looking to take on warehouse operatives to work night shifts at its Kingswood Lake base.

Recently APC announced it was hoping to take on 100 extra workers in the build-up to Christmas and more than half the positions were snapped up at two previous recruitment days.

Bosses confirmed those taken on temporarily may be given the chance to secure a permanent job.

Overnight resources manager Brett Kidson said: "We've had a fantastic response so far.

"Thankfully, due to our ongoing growth these new positions are not just for Christmas and we're looking to take people on permanently."

The recruitment day is being held at the sortation centre in Kingswood Lakeside on Tuesday between 3- 8pm.
