Time to map out a plan for Villa's future

Enjoying a Macmillan coffee morning in Dudley
Friday 30th September 2011, 12:20PM BST.
I normally write this on a Thursday night but have decided to write it today simply because I have some spare time to type whilst enjoying several cups of coffee.
In fact, I’m currently sat outside the Copthorne Hotel in Dudley on their patio area overlooking the canal eating some carrot cake with a drink. This is not all about have some leisurely time out, but about raising money for a great cause!
Today is the Macmillan Coffee Morning. You never know when you might be in need, so try and get to one if you can – it actually takes place for most of the day, despite saying just the morning!
People love to chat and, in fact, the Copthorne hotel have told me the bar is open shortly and I can stay for a beer. “I can’t” I said, “I’ve to get back for the show”.
Earlier it was great meeting people at the library in Wolverhampton who were doing their bit and shortly I’m off with Nice Nick from Beacon to the Cooks Collection in Walsall.
Meanwhile, if you fancy going to watch Wolves take on Newcastle on Saturday, then I have some tickets to give away on Beacon with Wolves legend Steve Bull who also tells me that he has a big announcement to make next week – what could it possibly be?
It’s a short and sweet blog this week! Enjoy the late summer weather and have a top weekend. And, if you fancy a night out, then im at Cheeky Monkey’s tonight.
