An own-goal, Milord?

An own-goal, Milord?

Twenty Twelve (BBC4), starring Hugh Bonneville, is a brilliant satire on how £12,000 million of our money is being hosed at next year’s London Olympics, writes Peter Rhodes.

It pokes fun at the stupid bosses, the stupid executives, the stupid language and the stupid job titles.

The most astonishing part was that Lord Coe, the man leading the Olympics, actually made a cameo appearance.

The producers must have punched the air with glee.

In his defence,  Sebastian Coe was a runner so maybe he doesn’t understand the concept of an own-goal.
