Ashmore go 10 points clear

With the Ashmore missing seven players for the weekends game this could have seen the end of a sixteen game unbeaten run as Brewood came calling.

Once again a fine crowd came to see the Ashmore inn take all three point and start the final push for the league title with some nice football.

This game was played on a ground that was rock hard from the frost and should have been abandoned but the game went ahead.

In a bruising encounter between Ashmore and Highcroft where both teams expected to get kicked and nether side let the other down the Ashmore came out on top with a 4-2 win to take them 9 points clear at the top of the league.

Ashmore grab a win

On a cold and damp morning Ashmore inn went to apply their trade at East Park where the cheesemen visited Alumwell fc it was once again a fine crowd that came to see the Ash and it was fair play to the Ashmoreians who stud in the freezing cold to cheer the lads on.
