Just in from West Midlands Ambulance Service - A woman in her 50s has been pulled from the canal in the Heath Town area of Wolverhampton after she fell from a boat. She was treated for a fractured arm and exposure to the cold water and taken to the city's New Cross Hospital for treatment.

Also in court today is Daniel Mark Miller, 40, who is alleged to have tried to kill a teenager in Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Centre on Wednesday.

Andrew Thompson, who served as a PCSO in Sandwell and before that as a special constable, was sent to prison for two years at Stafford Crown Court today after admitting giving sensitive intelligence to a woman he had a relationship with - along with her husband - over a 12 month period.

Breaking News: A Sandwell PCSO has been jailed for abusing his position by carrying out illegal searches on force IT systems and leaking confidential information to a convicted drug dealer.
