A 3D exhibition costing half a million pounds to create will be unveiled at the Black Country Living Museum, it has been exclusively revealed.
The new exhibition will be located in the Rolfe Street entrance and bosses say it will boost the visitor experience.
It is expected to feature public interaction exhibits and period specific zones.
The resource will be given a press launch on January 22 but museum director Ian Walden gave the Express & Star a taster of what people can expect to see.
“It will be a 3D guide book, it will act as an introduction and information source,” he said.
“The idea is to offer something very visual for visitors.
“It will be much more detailed than the guide book we sell in the souvenir shop. We cannot include too much detail in the book as people just get bogged down.”
The exhibition has been created by a northern based design company which has worked on it for the past five months.
