FA Cup fourth round draw

fa-cupWolves will welcome Premier League Middlesbrough to Molineux in the next round of the FA Cup - if they get past Birmingham.

The Championship leaders must first beat Blues at St Andrews on Tuesday week in the third round, with the game called off yesterday because of the weather.

Premier League Albion will take on Championship opposition in a fourth round home draw against Queens Park Rangers or Burnley, who must replay.

This is, of course, dependant on whether the Baggies can win their own replay at League One Peterborough.

Villa’s reward for a slender victory at League Two Gillingham is a trip to either Whaddon Road in League One Cheltenham or the Keepmoat Stadium, where Championship new boys Doncaster would await.

That tie at Whaddon Road is still to take place, another falling foul of the weather.

Conquerers of Kidderminster Harriers in the last round, Championship Coventry, must now travel to Blue Square opposition at Torquay.

The fourth round ties will played on the weekend of 24/25 January.

Every chance of getting through to the 5th round assuming we beat that joke of a professional club at St Andrews. I smell a rat bigtime with that. How can a team like Forest Green manage to get their pitch ready and the Blues can’t? Hmmmm…………

Interesting that the pools panel put us to beat Birmingham yesterday. I hope not. We do not want extra games, we want freedom from injuries and fresh players.

Hope Gow goes through - he was effective against us at Bloomfield road and being able to play across the forward line he seems an ideal buy.

Happy new year all you ‘posters’. Here’s to premiership soccer next September. Wouldn’t it be lovely….

Moses mick will lead us to the promised land..

There appears to be a typo in this post.

    It should read:

Wolves will welcome Premier League Middlesbrough to Molineux in the next round of the FA Cup - ‘WHEN’ they get past Birmingham.

    Up the Wolves!
