James Perch’s early second-half equaliser earned Forest a share of the spoils against an under-par Birmingham.
After two successive defeats, Blues looked as though they meant business in the early stages of the clash at Forest.
Their early ascendancy bought the reward of James McFadden’s goal but they failed to build on it.
Forest lacked ideas at times but there was no questioning their enthusiasm.
They kept themselves in the contest long enough for Perch to put them back in it from a free kick - that Blues manager Alex McLeish and his coaching staff were furious was awarded.

what game was this numpty watching?!?! Forest were by far the better team and their 2nd half performance was outstanding - they deserved the full 3 points - just look at the match stats Forest should ave won this. and how many fouls and yellow cards Birmingham got! and jerome the acrobatic diving queen - gives footballers a bad name!! they were lucky to keep 11 men on the field! Forest look to good to be in the bottom 3 and Birmingham dont look like a team that should be in the top 3!
