I think American politics stinks at the moment, that it’s not about who’s right but who has the biggest amount of money and the biggest corporate influence. There are better candidates who get nowhere near this level coverage.

Despite being an unknown and only spending a relative short period of time speaking on his own behalf, Obama is running for president - why? I think the millions in corporate backing has something to do with it..so has the fact that he’s appealing to the generosity of a young, gullible mindset. I also find voting for him on the basis of his skin color rather hypocritical and racist. America deserves and needs, better.

Personally, I think he will be a force for change and good. I don’t believe for a second anyone voted on the basis of race that’s idiocy, I honestly don’t think the American electorate are that gullible and ignorant, after all it wasn’t president elect Obama who brought race into this election.
The most productive thing I see coming out of this is nothing but positive feelings, now every young and middle aged person will eventually have something or someone they have something in common with, a young approachable, vivacious straight laced individual who they can trust.
Its a pity the young in this country don’t take the vote as seriously. They may just find just like America that one day they to will have their very own Obama only if they want their own say.
All I can say is the best of luck Mr Obama Sir,oh and watch out for the Filibusters.
“I want an Obama lawn sign!”
