I see the sycophants are trying to surpress free speech again. Probably the same people who keep voting for Labour’s NuStasi.

In the vain hope that we might discuss stats constructively (waste of time on here, probably), but the criticisms today revolve around goalkeeper and defence.

So, the first and most important stat is that we are scoring more than we are conceding and are second in the table and looking healthy because of it. Wonderful, delightful, let’s all have a party because it’s brilliant. Fine.

However, we have conceded 21 goals. Forest are bottom having conceded 22. Next it’s Doncaster in 23rd who have conceded 21 - same as us. In 22nd are Southampton who have also conceded 21 - same as us. 21st placed Barnsley have conceded 16.

In our league matches, we have kept TWO clean sheets in thirteen games.

If getting nervous about the way we allow goals in makes people traitors, Wolves haters, Baggies fans or Father Christmas, then so be it.

But it strikes me that those who try to surpress any form of observation unless it’s utterly totally sycophantic, blinkered nonsense are those who are fanatical which in moderated quantities is charming, but to excess can be very dangerous.

Could all those armchair fans who don’t even attend the games please stop moaning about the players, Mick and all the Worlds ills because of them - we’re second, 5 pts clear of Reading and still favourites for promotion. Collins never impressed me last season but has come good this year, every single player has a bad game even Kites, yes it’s true. Get behind the team because boos and moans only helps the opposition teams. Up the Mighty Wolves

You guys took the chances and looked lively on the break.

Maybe a draw would have been fair but then we took 6 points off you last season when you were the better side twice.

I’d say you are on of the top 3 sides we have played so far (attack wise) and your defence held on well.

I could have told all you worried fans we’d miss the penalty because we’re rubbish at them.

Are you guys that want Hennessey in the same ones that wanted him out after the “Debacle” against Reading? Oh!! I thought so. You amaze me that you have to single out players when you:

    a) Were listening on the radio.
    b) Couldn’t see the players.
    c) Forget that we won the game.
    d) Don’t seem to be aware we are second from the top, and not second from the bottom.

Collins won a great deal of challenges in the air today, and made some very timely interceptions. He made a few errors, but which defenders don’t?

Ikeme was probably at fault for their second goal, but I wouldn’t have blamed him for the first goal. (Still, I didn’t hear it on WM or Beacon, so what would I know?) For their second goal he was a little too bothered with watching for the players who would be running in, and their bloke (Smith I think) whipped it in with pace, and left him scrabbling, and O’ Toole was able to score.

I would play Hennessey on Tuesday, and maybe Shackell instead of Collins. Not because either Ikeme or Collins are poor, but both need a break. (Even if only from some of you.)

i think with the sale of hennessey we should get in 2 defenders cos collins is absolutely useless (how many times do we need to witness it) and ive not much faith in shackell.

on the plus, kightly and foley were class of the field, and iwelumos got a goal behind him now im sure he’ll be back on top in no time.

You have to say well done to the lads for grinding out a result. It didnt sound pretty but we needed it. I hope MM hasnt got one of these stubborn attitudes about the keeper now. The club and the fans come way above any personal gripe he may have. Hennessey has to start.
