How slow must you go? That’s the question Mark Andrews was trying to answer last Wednesday. An electronic ’slow down’ warning on Tipton Road in Dudley is not just triggered by speeding motorists, but also by law-abiding motorists, cyclists and even joggers. Indeed, it appears as though anybody travelling above 4mph is moving too quickly for Dudley Council, who claim that the sign is doing exactly what they intended it to do. That would be annoying people, presumably.
