Ladies were all dressed up to the nines when they stepped out in style for a charity fashion show at a hotel near Wolverhampton.

Glamorous gowns and fancy hats were the order of the day for the charity show and lunch at Patshull Park Hotel in Pattingham.

The fundraiser was organised by the Wolverhampton branch of children’s charity the NSPCC in conjunction with Jade Browning, a fashion boutique in Mount Road, Penn.

Models showcased a range of fancy frocks and chic hats from the ladieswear shop while dozens of guests enjoyed a lunch at the lakeside hotel.

Organisers hailed yesterday’s stylish spectacle a great success, raising more than £1,000 for the worthy cause. “It was a very enjoyable event,” said organiser Lesley Purchase, of the city branch of the NSPCC.

“There were some lovely fashions on display, including party frocks and ballgowns available from Jade Browning.

“I thank everyone who supported the event. It was a great success.”
