Bay City Roller Eric in town

Now aged 54 and with no screaming hoardes of teenage girls hanging on his every word he performed a series of songs inspired by his trade union roots.

The event, held at Dudley’s Black Country Living Museum, celebrates the achievement of women in the workplace and their fight for better wages.

The rocker was watched hundreds and although the number of autograph hunters may have been reduced slightly over the years there was still a handful of fans who remember him from his Bay City Rollers days desperate for a chat.

While he still still performs Bay City Rollers hits but prefers to concentrate more on his new music.
