Come on wolves Anything but a loss is a good result
Report abuse
we will find out the hard way about ward a striker playing left back today.hope i am wrong.
Only McCarthy will know why we are playing Ward on left-back when we have been buying two natural left-backs.
But then again he prefered Ward to Jarvis against Plymouth, so why not…
Report abuse
negative comments already!!!
Love it!!!
come on wolves!! liverpool was loosing from the 4th min and they came back and won !! and so can we!
Does anybody know why Chris Iwelumo is not playing? Not even on the bench.
I think MOM curse is striking
Report abuse
wheres iwelumo.?
Hill was injured in training, and rather than throw George Friend in at the deep end, Mick has wisely stuck with Ward at LB considering he played very well in that position against Forest. So please shove your negativity up your pipe! Iwelumo was injured in the warm-up so Andy Keogh started instead.. shame for Chris, lets hope its not too serious. This team has goals in it so I am confident we will score today…

Come on Wolves! Long way to go
Report abuse
Ward had a good game last time out and it would be hard to drop an inform player, I am more concerned about - 14:49: Confusion as Andy Keogh appears in attack for Wolves, with no sign of Chris Iwelumo.
Any news on Iwelumo?
Why is ward playing, why did we sign new players
Report abuse
“negative comments already!!!”
If its negative to wonder why Gray is selected ahead of Hill or that other left-back, then yeah I am negative.
You gotta be able to see the difference between just being negative, and being critical about the selection.
I like Mick, but it doesnt mean he doesnt make mistakes.

“Hill was injured in training, and rather than throw George Friend in at the deep end, Mick has wisely stuck with Ward at LB considering he played very well in that position against Forest”
I didnt know that about Hill, and yeah you are right about Friend.
Fair play to Mick then.
OK, if Iwelumo was injured in the warm…what is the revised bench lineup now Keogh has started?
ward had a good game against a poor team,
he is not a defender
Report abuse
Who else is on the bench?
Keogh is a donkey and shouldn’t be on the pitch
Report abuse
Sam Vokes was already on the bench - see the lineup
Subs: Ikeme, Edwards, Keogh, Vokes, Shackell.
Its just Keogh that has moved into the starting 11 that would leave us a man short on the bench then - someone please clarify - anyone listening on the radio?
Ward and Keogh are not Good enough

Here we are again, 1 down and the negatives start immediately. The Mick knockers chip in, don’t play Ward, the new full backs should be on !!!! What happens Ward provides the cross and the 18 year old super sub (another astute Mick signing), puts us ahead. Then adds another with just a couple of minutes left. Trust Mick, we can’t all be the manager and Mick is a Mick has proven he is a good one. Who wahted to sack super Mick last year !!!
Looking good, just need to keep it going. A goal from Doncaster and/or Freddie - Ay ang on - Sam scores another… yeeha

A great result never now when we are beaten kept at em till the end. This should give the lads a major boost winning like this away from home well done MM 7 the lads.

Excellent display again lads.
Great to have a sub’s bench full of goals this season.
Well done Mick for rattling a few cages at half-time.
“51. Danish Wolf, singing a different tune now eh ?”
So true. but isnt nice to be proven wrong some times.
To say I am happy is an understatement. 1-nil down to a wonder goal and I thought “ouch”. But what a second half.
So funny to read the comments though, start off as optimistic, quickly turn critical because of the lack of understanding over the selection. Then the ugly wife brigade come on with negative desperation and finally rejoice!!!
Just got back from the valley and we were better then against forest. Charlton are just better then forest.
looking at the fixtures september was going to be the toughest month of all just about, so what a start.
Get to the Golden palace on tue night if your reading this, even if its going to be your only game this season, no team has ever one 5 in a row during the season and not gone up we need the lace rockin.
Great result- and coming from a team whose manager knows nowt, sounds like “ward” had a very good match-thats why MM is “THE MANAGER” so let him manage-re: all the negative commenters.
Really liked Mick’s after-match comments;
“These days I don’t turn around, look at the bench and think I can’t change things. I now look at the subs and think they can change the game.
He must have thought that last season we must have had a lazy, overrated, selfish centre-forward on the bench that would’nt be able to poach a goal….wonder who that could have been targetted at eh!!!!!
GREAT COMMENT MICK!!!
Just to clarify…
Nobody ONCE booed Keogh.
I was there.
Don’t know where you got that BS from
Report abuse
excellent result when we went a goal down so many negative comments whats a matter with these people this is our year love u wolves
Report abuse
Cracking result and performance. I come back from the match and read people saying Ward & Keogh should not be playing. If you had seen the game, you would agree Ward was awesome and Keogh had a very good game too.

WE WANT MUPPET OUT, SING WE WANT MUPPET OUT!!
Is no one joining in? This board is so much better without the boo boys don’t you think. Another good performance from the team, and well done Ward for filling in so well at LB. Perhaps he has found his position?
the people who make negative comments are people who never go and spend there money and see it through proper supporters eyes

Went to Match fantastic support. The all round play and determination was fantastic. I feel now we have now found the players we need to totally demorilise the championship.I have been waiting for this for ages and ages. These players seem like the ones to take us to the promise land.I know its the start of the season but it seems that the 11 players that are playing in any game seems to know where the wolves players are on the pitch. When i saw them on saturday we played awesome and i think all 3000 fans that went on saturday feel the same.We have come back twice this season and look also to take the game in style like we did on saturday
Good luck to the boys Tomorrow night ill be there
Report abuse
we won’t keep winning hopefully we have enough points to avoid relegation
Report abuse
terry’s choclate orange maybee you should try going to the game instead of watching it on match of the day. If i thought you ever attended games maybe it would make your posts more credible but you spend all your time on here. Get a job, go to a game and get a life loser

I’ve got a shirt sponsor for the crappies- “pork scratchings” after all said and done-you can put lipstick on a pig-but it’s still a pig-oink,oink.
