National Mercury Prize winners Elbow visit Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall on October 15.
The Manchester quintet appeared on the scene at the turn of the millennium, mining a similar vein of guitar pop as Doves and Coldplay.
The band consists of vocalist Guy Garvey, drummer Richard Jupp, organist Craig Potter, guitarist Mark Potter and bassist Pete Turner.
Their acclaimed albums include Asleep in the Back, Cast of Thousands and 2005’s Leaders of the Free World.
Their latest offering The Seldom Seen Kid was nominated for the Mercury prize last month and features the singles Grounds for Divorce and One Day Like This.
