Fans Forum: Pick your topic

goal.jpgDo you enjoy a good debate on Expressandstar.com early in the morning? Well here is your chance to pick the sporting topic.

Post what you would like to talk about on the comments page, we will pick the best one and take it from there!

Now you have your chance every day to post the question you would like your fellow commenters to debate.

It could be something related to our local clubs (e.g. ‘Will the new signings answer Wolves defensive problems?’ or ‘What striker should Albion bring in January?’).

It could be a national topic (e.g. ‘Who will replace Alan Curbishley at West Ham?’ or ‘Will England qualify for the World Cup in 2010?’)

You have until 10am. Go!

With the recent events at Manchester City and clubs like Everton effectively putting themselves “up for sale”; What real future is there for clubs who dont have a billionaire sugar daddy?

i think that the 20 elite premiership league clubs should form a breakaway league and stop relegation and promotion to and from the championship aye boing boing donk

1,dont worry about it, it only effects premier clubs aye boing boing donk

    3. Terry. Its probably the only way you will avoid relegation is to scrap it so I can see your point.aye.

will it be long till weve all got a sugar daddy and perhaps we will all be back on a level playing field,,,PLAYING A BIT OF DUTCHIE IN THE PREM,,IN STYLE OF COURSE,,OOOOOOOOOOOH YES..

Terry - you may actually have a point…

If 20 billionaires own 20 prem football clubs - will THEY demand an end to relegation ??

I hope not - I loved our time in the CCC and winning the league and promotion makes this season soooo sweet.

To lose that would be the death of football - although i think its in ITU already !!.

3 Surely you would get bored of getting pasted week in week out. At current rate it would take you nearly 3 years to get to that magical ‘40′ points figure! lol!

Do Ex footballers make better football club managers and does holding a Uefa coahing badge/ license guarantee anything?

  14. Happy_baggie said:

Why do the wulfies always feel the need to show their jealousy on here ?

You can’t have a debate without some numbskull regurgitating the old “big club” nonsense.

Its like tranmere having a pop at everton, or Orient bragging to Fulham.

Can you think of ANY other CCC team trying to tell its premier league neighbours where they have gone wrong ??

Delusions of grandour don’t cover it…

  15. phes said:

Will any manager be given more than 12 months to turn around Newcastle or does the lack of forsight and desire or instant success mean that the club are doomed to stay in a perminant transient state (lerching from one sacking, to reshaping the squad to fit the new managers style to sacking again!)

    ?????

What would the fans think if Wolves had a billionaire owner?? (sic)

Would we stick with Mick and this policy of young and hungry or such to a new glamour manager with big name (over the hill) signings????

9,happy i do agree with you,i miss going to the moll and winning all the time, and scoring 100s of goals, filling every ground we go too,but having said that teams like us dont belong in the championship,we more at home with the likes of,chelsea, man u,arsenal, liverpool, etc, aye boing boing donk

  19. laughingwolf said:

happybaggie- again a ridiculous comparisison. leyton orient are 2/3 leagues below fulham, same with tranmere and fulham. We are one place below you in the football ladder. Last season when we were in the same league we had bigger attendances than you, took more fans away, we have a bigger and better stadium. what albion had last season was a better football team no doubt, but albion never will be a bigger club unless something drastic happens like man city. In terms of football teams now, I think you are considerably weaker than last season, hence why the players who were on loan etc last season are playing and we have strengthened, I think we would beat you now.

    and everton rather, excuse me

16,festawilf,youd stick to your young and hungry policy,as big name players and managers only go to premier league clubs, aye boing boing donk

No 10. I love Terry’s humour. Certainly would never take anything seriously. Just giving a bit of banter back.
I think his witty comments deserve a bit of humour back. Nothing nasty meant if I upset you about the submarine bit.

    14. Happy. Unless I missed something what Jealousy do you refer to?
Certainly dont think any Wolf would change anything our end at the moment. We are 100% happy with our start to the season.
    Are you??
