Illuminated words and neon strings hang from a metal frame inside an industrial unit near Wolverhampton.

The dramatic sight is part of a unique collection of works which includes contributions by some of the industry’s biggest names including Tracey Emin, Jason Rhoades, Olafur Eliasson, Dan Attoe and John M Armleder.

The Lightness Of Being display is the latest colourful exhibition to take centre stage at Initial Access, based at Calibre Industrial Park, Four Ashes, which is used to display pieces from the collection of self-made millionaire art lover Frank Cohen.

Initial Access opened in January last year as a space to display art from the collection, and uses two refurbished warehouses providing 10,000 square feet of space.

It is housed at units 19 and 20 on the Calibre Industrial Estate in Laches Close off Enterprise Drive and will run Mondays to Thursdays from 11am to 4pm and Saturdays between 10am to 4pm. Admission is free and the current exhibition runs until December 19. More information is available through the website info@initialaccess.co.uk or phone 01902 798999.
